The Department of Foreign Language Education started the educational activities by accepting undergraduate students at the Department of English Language Teaching in the 2010-2011 academic year. The duration of undergraduate programs in the department is 5 years, including the first year compulsory preparatory class.Graduates of the department can work as foreign language teachers in primary and secondary schools. The quota of the English Language Teaching Undergraduate Program is 30 people. The Department of Foreign Language Education was established in the University of Niğde, Aksaray Faculty of Education in 1999. Since 2006, it has been a department of Foreign Languages Education at Aksaray University, Faculty of Education.The department aims to train hard-working foreign language teachers who are well equipped in the field of education and have grasped the importance of teaching profession, who aim to apply the foreign language teaching in the best way , who evaluate the best experience and experience in the field, who are able to use them in place and effectively by following innovations, changes and developments in teaching profession and foreign language teaching.
